We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.
In this role, you will:
- Handle account related services, e.g. corporate account opening, corporate account information update, Audit confirmation, Deposit related service, and etc.
- Playing key role in Business enabling from Operations side to assist frontline in resolving account related inquiries raised by customers and frontline staff.
- Take proper action to ensure all account service related instructions are processed within set turnaround time and full adherence to service level agreement. Monitor the accuracy and timeliness of account related regulatory system input to avoid operational error and loss and assist line manager to set up control mechanism within responsible area.
- Monitor irregular/outstanding cases and handle exceptional cases within responsible area to avoid operational risk as well as to ensure no customer complaint. Scrutinize system reports within responsible area and take proper follow-up actions to ensure exception is monitored and rectified. Register and report errors and anomalies daily in the exception reports to relief manager while correcting errors to assure compliance and customer satisfaction.
- Act as a coordinator between branch Operations Account Service Team and frontline staff, as well as with back office staff, to smooth the whole process and improve efficiency. Being an expertise in account services area to continuously provide professional solution towards internal and external customers' problems and inquiries.
- Learn relative internal/external regulation. Identify the improvement need and act as a mentor to ensure their daily work complies with the bank principle.
- Commitment and sense of responsibility. To maintain good attendance record without unjustifiable absence; to completes work assignment on schedule.
- Keep high level of service standard for internal and external customers
- Maintain HSBC internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy and maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring
- Take up backup tasks for other operations roles as assigned by line manager when necessary and work with team spirit.
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor degree or above
- Good understanding of banking rules and regulations
- Strong sense of responsibility
- Good communication and interpersonal skill
- Good written and spoken English
- Good office software skill
- Relevant experience in banking/counter operations preferred
