This role sits at the centre of new business onboarding and transition activities, acting as a control tower between clients, client management, operations and global transition teams. 

You will lead onboarding engagements from initial handover through to successful service go-live, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, timeline and risk framework, while maintaining a strong focus on client experience.

  • Lead and manage end-to-end new client onboarding and transition projects
  • Coordinate onboarding activities including documentation review (agreements, OMs, etc.), account opening and operational setup
  • Work closely with Sales, Client Management, Operations, Compliance and Global Transition teams
  • Manage KYC, CDD and internal account opening processes to ensure timely and compliant onboarding
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients during the onboarding lifecycle and account maintenance
  • Track milestones, identify risks and drive issue resolution to ensure on-time delivery
  • Support post-go-live stabilisation and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects and process enhancements as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in Global Banking, Markets or Securities Services
  • Solid understanding of Custody and/or Fund Services products
  • Proven experience in client onboarding, account opening or project management roles
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across regional and global teams
  • Fluent in English and Korean required
