Senior Product Manager

The Korea Product role is primarily responsible for the definition, maintenance and development of the Direct Custody and Clearing business. The Product Manager is responsible for identifying & developing new revenue streams through innovation, thought leadership and the strategic development of the business in collaboration with the Regional Product team, and local service delivery and support functions. The role specializes in post-execution Custody and Clearing driving development and management of a uniform, controlled, and cost-effective cross boarder solution and access products for clients.

• To pro-actively manage and contribute to the development of the Direct Custody and Clearing new products in line with HSBC’s Asia First strategy
• Managing the Direct Custody Korea proposition with the objective to contribute to the improvement of the overall profitability of the Securities Services business and to enhance the client experience.
• Managing and amending existing Korea proposition to ensure compliance with regulations
• Manage regulatory interactions in relation to new products and concepts

Qualifications

• Experience in securities services (Broking / Custody)
• Experience in all aspects of Global Business management including staff development, client management, financials, marketing, product development, and risk management.
• Proven track record in driving innovation and demonstrating thought leadership
• Knowledge of Korea market infrastructure
• Strategic and creative thinker
• Business oriented, client focus with clear revenue driven mind-set within defined risk parameters
• Able to manage complex and multi-disciplinary global environment
• Full proficiency in Korean/English
