We’re hiring an experienced Sales Manager, Corporates – Global Payments Solutions (GPS) 부본부장급(GCB 5) to lead a high-performing team and grow our Payments and Cash Management business across a portfolio of Global Banking & Corporate clients.
You’ll drive revenue growth, deepen client relationships, and bring innovative solutions to market—while role-modelling strong leadership and disciplined risk and control standards.
What you’ll do
- Lead and coach a sales team to deliver sustainable revenue growth and strong client outcomes
- Manage a corporate client portfolio: retain, grow and originate new business
- Build and execute a robust sales plan, maintaining an accurate and active pipeline
- Lead key client opportunities and complex deals, including pricing and negotiation
- Partner with product, implementation and coverage teams to deliver an excellent client experience
- Generate referrals across HSBC (e.g., Wealth/Private Banking where appropriate)
- Maintain strong governance: sales suitability, documentation, operational risk and audit readiness
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience in corporate banking sales, ideally in payments/cash management/transaction banking
- Strong leadership capability: coaching, performance management and building team engagement
- Commercial mindset with confidence in pricing, negotiation and solution selling
- Ability to collaborate across functions and regions to deliver for clients
- Sound understanding of risk, compliance and control expectations in a regulated environment
Requirements
- Proven experience leading and developing a sales team
- Strong track record in corporate sales and relationship management
- Good knowledge of cash management and payments (local and regional)
- Strong commercial skills: pipeline management, pricing and negotiation
- Ability to understand client needs and propose practical, value-adding solutions
- Sound credit and risk awareness for corporate clients
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong planning, organisation and time management
- Good understanding of market trends, competition and regulatory requirements
- Fluency in English and Korean
