We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager, Product and Control (GCB 5/VP)
Review and oversee MSS transaction monitoring, financial controlling, front-to-back-balancing controls, pricing, price verification and analysis and commentaries. The role is responsible for monitoring of yield curve constructions and validation of market data for revaluation, price verification, FV levelling reporting and benchmark monitoring and accounting control and others as required. The role is also required to ensure Global Market transactions are appropriately monitored against assigned monitoring criteria with timely investigation and reporting internally/externally in case of excess. The skill-set that this role requires includes detailed knowledge of numerous MSS products, accounting policy, MSS systems, financial markets and process management. The role is also required to ensure efficiency and timeliness of GM reporting and to minimize the risk of non-compliance with Group and regulatory requirements.
[Key Responsibilities]
- Review of daily/monthly P&L reports for Global Markets including analytical review of P&L components/drivers
- Validation of fair value of portfolios/transactions calculated by primary trading systems
- Review of dealer estimate vs actual p&l reconciliation
- Preparation of month-end fair value adjustments and other adjustments
- Daily Pricing-End-of-Day (EOD) for complex derivatives
- Manage and validate market data for accurate revaluation and yield curve construction, independent price verification
- Perform the market data vendor pricing source review and assess the boundary observability
- Manage new discounting curve, product mapping and exception controls
- Oversight of PC outsourcing tasks
- Manage manual entries system approval controls
- Review of daily /monthly FX and MKTY benchmark monitoring reports for Global Markets including reviews on exceptions and FO explanation
- Review Hedging MI reporting and oversight hedge activities
- Support PC related projects and ad hoc tasks
[Knowledge and Experience]
- Well understanding on market risk factors and Global Markets products
- Strong knowledge on Derivatives valuation including structured products and complex derivatives, market data control and price verification process
- Strong problem solving ability and analysis skill are mandatory.
- Working experience, more than 8 years in Global Markets area including Product Control, GM Operation or Finance.
- Leadership experience to manage team members
- Strong communication skill in both Korean and English
