We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Head of Securities Finance reporting.(GCB 5)
- Provide finance services to Securities services(HSBC 증권)
- Perform monthly / quarterly / annual local and global financial book closing.
- Review and post daily/monthly adjustment journals.
- Review DCM/ECM/M&A revenue booking per TP Policy & fee split agreement.
- Review net fee details of DCM, M&A/ECM for settlement.
- Review monthly/quarterly HORIS submission.
- Supervise and ensure timely submission of financial and Group reporting and Local Regulatory Reporting.(FSS, BOK, KDIC, KOFIA)
- Supervise the monthly balance sheet reconciliation and substantiation process across HSBC.
- Prepare financial and regulatory returns for management review and own the Quarterly / Year end audit process including financial disclosures.
- Support Regulatory Audit(FSS, Tax).
- Tax Return review (Corporate tax, VAT, Education Tax, W/H Tax, BEPS Local File, FATCA, CRS etc)
- Work with regional teams where relevant to execute global requirements
- Review TPEM role – maintenance of Archer
- Work closely with the business to ensure completeness of the periodic control assessment and testing of individual controls
- Identify areas for process improvement to increase efficiency
- Ensure appropriate communication across Finance, as well as other functions, such as Risk and the businesses who form part of overall control environment over financial reporting risk
- Facilitate compliance with relevant control frameworks
- Proactive in seeking alternative solutions/approaches to achieve desired efficiency and effectiveness of process
Requirements
- Ability to identify problems and offer solutions, and drive through their execution in a collective environment
- Subject matter expertise in financial accounting and reporting. CPA is preferred
- Good operating skills, including use of Microsoft Office, Automation and Visualisation tools
- Be energetic, proactive and capability to work independently
- Good communications and interpersonal skills, able to work closely with the business
- Strong leadership capabilities of navigating, aspiring, driving, mobilising and sustaining, in line with HSBC values of open, connected and dependable.
