We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Global Credit  & Financing (GCF) Trading (GCB 4)

 

What you’ll do

  • Trade and market-make KRW GCF products (repos, SBL, bond forwards, credit bonds, etc.).
  • Provide pricing to Sales and clients in line with HSBC policies.
  • Execute trades accurately and on time.
  • Manage risk and positions within HSBC’s risk appetite (e.g., VaR, funding risk, rates risk, RWA).
  • Deliver revenue and performance targets set by management.
  • Ensure all trades are correctly booked and tickets are completed; support issue resolution (e.g., settlement).
  • Review required daily/monthly reports.
  • Work closely with Sales, Operations and regional/global Financing teams.
  • Support new product development, trading strategy and improvements (including migration of flow to e-platforms where relevant).
  • Act in line with the HSBC Code of Conduct and ensure fair outcomes for customers and orderly markets.

 

What you’ll need

  • Strong analytical skills and good judgement in risk management.
  • Strong understanding of Markets products, clients and trading processes.
  • Good knowledge of capital markets, including FX and interest rate derivatives.
  • Ability to work with a broad and sometimes complex product set.
  • Required local (and any cross-border) licenses/exams for non-advisory trading activities.
  • Minimum 5 years of Rates trading experiences, including financing and yield enhancement products
