Associate, Credit Analyst

[Job Description / Role Background Information ]

• Work closely with Relationship Managers (RMs) to help them prepare Credit Proposals for Financial Institutions Group customers
• Maintain a flexible operating model ensuring credit work for new business transactions are consistently and effectively prioritized to exploit revenue generating activities
• Service credit annual renewals in timely manner and to a standard that meets or exceeds HSBC standards
• Assist RMs with agreed credit-related tasks pertaining to their clients’ credit life-cycle
• Supporting RMs and Credit Risk Approvers’ decisions through advice, counsel or services in areas of specialization

[Recruitment Capability Requirements ]

• At least 7 years working experience in financial analysis required.
• Preference with a high understanding of the financial sectors (i.e. Banking, Securities, Insurance, Asset Management etc).
• Strong analytical & communication skills required.
• Understanding of financial markets / products recommended.
• Ability to perform well under pressure.
