AVP, Settlement, Direct Custody and Clearing, HSS (1Y fixed-term contract)

Job Description

- Understand daily stock market newspaper for Corporate Action events  

- Update the various Corporate Action events (e.g. proxy voting event, dividend, etc.) into the system

- Liaison with local broker/issuing company/KSD where necessary

- Handling client instruction and inquiries for relevant tasks

- Understand and validate associated or separate tax implications related to Corporate Action events

- Prepare monthly/annual tax report to file to the local tax authority

- Review tax related documentation

Qualifications

- Strong team oriented attitude

- Good command of English in speaking & writing

- Good knowledge of PC skills such as MS office/Excel

- Customer service oriented attitude

- Good communication skills for internal and external clients

- Problem solving skill with a full responsibility
