We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Business Development Manager. This role will cover clients located in the South region, primarily west of London across to Bristol, hence travel will be expected.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to bring our innovative cash management solutions to new and existing Global Payment Solutions customers, achieving revenue by originating leads, building strategic relationships, and delivering new customer activations.

In this role you will:

  • Proactively identify and deliver new sales revenue across the GPS product suite
  • Collaborate with segment and other product areas to undertake transactional banking focussed business origination
  • Showcase the strength of our digital GPS capabilities to new and existing clients
  • Implement business development strategies and campaigns to achieve growth objectives, both within the UK and internationally
  • Work in conjunction with onboarding teams to fully realise business revenues
  • Maintain close liaison with key stakeholders to provide input to the strategic direction of the business, the functionality, and launch of new products and services

 

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Experience of delivering new business sales
  • In-depth Payments and Cash Management product knowledge including Transaction Banking
  • A track record of successfully identifying and developing significant/complex business propositions, which attract and entrench customers, in a fair and ethical way
  • A passion for building trusted relationships and delivering outstanding customer service
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills with experience of successfully influencing others, negotiating effectively and winning over audiences with compelling and persuasive presentations
  • Built effective networks both internally and externally and created opportunities for others to work collaboratively
  • A comprehensive understanding of risk management and proven experience of ensuring own/others' compliance with relevant regulatory processes
