Job description
The opportunity: Relationship Manager Associate, Corporate and Institutional Banking
Being part of HSBC in Israel, you’ll help evolve and grow our business.
If you answered yes to any of these questions, we want to hear from you!
What you will do:
Support Relationship Bankers on a defined client portfolio by helping originate opportunities, execute transactions smoothly, deepen client engagement, and strengthen portfolio returns—while maintaining strong risk discipline, credit analysis, and financial crime controls.
In this role you will:
• Support Relationship Bankers in managing and growing a portfolio of clients, coordinating activity across Banking and relevant product/country teams.
• Originate opportunities by identifying marketing ideas, analysing client needs, and preparing proposals, presentations, and pitches for products and services.
• Execute deals by working with clients and internal product partners to progress transactions efficiently, accurately, and within agreed timelines.
• Build client engagement by developing contacts, maintaining client plans, and ensuring a coordinated service approach with client service teams.
• Perform financial and credit analysis by reviewing client financials, industry/sector dynamics, and assessing credit strengths/weaknesses and mitigants.
• Manage portfolio and pipeline discipline by maintaining accurate CRM data, monitoring income generation and returns, and identifying opportunities to optimise Risk Weighted Assets and enhance relationship profitability—while escalating risks and issues promptly (including financial crime risk).
You should apply if you have:
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, including the ability to produce high-quality credit and sector analysis.
• Solid financial analysis capability and understanding of risk management, credit fundamentals, and mitigants.
• Ability to create compelling client materials (e.g., pitch books, presentations) with strong attention to detail.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively across relationship, product, and country teams.
• Confident communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with a professional client-facing style.
• Strong organisation and ownership: able to manage pipeline/deals in CRM, track MI, and maintain high standards of control and compliance
• Fluent business English and Hebrew
• Are living in Israel
Even if you feel you do not meet 100% of our qualifications, we encourage you to apply, if you believe this role is right for you.
