Job Responsibilities: 

 

  • Ensure team adherence to department guidelines, compliance regulations, policies and procedures relating to content and web design with coordination with teams and business stakeholders
  • Periodic review of processes to identify opportunities and actionable improvements to be implemented
  • Guarantee a high-quality of work by reviewing own and team’s output, identify skills gaps, and provide training as needed
  • Keep abreast on the current technology used in HSBC, industry trends and best practices that can be adapted into the ways of working
  • As lead, management responsibility for team(s) by providing clear direction and setting goals
  • Develop professional and harmonious relationships with different stakeholders through constant communication aimed to obtain a clear understanding of the business strategic objectives, support planning and execution

 

Job Requirements: 

 

  • Technical expertise on web development, content management systems, and other digital publishing platforms and tools
  • Solid knowledge on CSS, HTML and JavaScript to conduct day-to-day content management activities and oversee the team’s delivery and targets
  • Maintaining best practice in producing online content, in accordance with compliance, and style guides
  • Essential understanding on proofreading and editorial content check
  • Structured and systematic working style in managing tasks assigned as a member, lead and the subject matter expert
  • Restate the fundamentals of website user experience, accessibility standards (WCAG), analytics and SEO practices to enable process and website metrics improvements
  • Work with support teams in addressing production issues through root-cause analysis, risk and impact assessment and create mitigating controls
  • People skills to develop capabilities and skills of all team members through structured training programmes, embedding a coaching culture, peer-to-peer mentoring, and future skills

 

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
