We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Subject Matter Expert - Settlements Operations

In this role, you will:

  • The FXMM CLTM Officer has as main objective to guarantee the good execution of operations for all transactions in structured products, futures and options, in full compliance with HSBC guidelines and department commitments.
  • Participate to the training of the new joiners and improve efficiency and quality by sharing knowledge and proposing and implementing proper solutions. Act as a specialist in the resolution of complex issues.
  • Process checker and maker when appropriate.
  • Deals with more complex items and investigations.
  • Escalating any concerns promptly.
  • Handles escalations.
  • Transfers their knowledge and advice to other members of the team.
  • Provides timely & accurate responses to any inquiries raised by internal or external stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Should already show expertise in at least one of the following: Foreign Exchange, Money Market, Interest Rate Swaps, Foreign Exchange Options, Structured Products, EMIR & FINFRAG Reporting, Precious Metals, Fiduciary, Collateral Management and Cash Management.
  • University graduate/degree holder.
  • Knowledge of use of Microsoft Excel.
  • Good numerical abilities.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Exhibits commitment and resilience.
  • PC literate with good working knowledge of MS Office.

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
