We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Subject Matter Expert – Reconciliations.

In this role, you will:

  • Perform reconciliation tasks on cash balances, security / bullion movements and holdings, outstanding derivative positions either using system tools or manually.
  • Verify internal account balances and cross check inter-system balances according to a pre-determined schedule.
  • Perform controls as checker in the process.
  • Perform trade confirmation matching daily using system tools.
  • Carry out primary level of investigation on discrepancies / un-reconciled breaks and assign cases to relevant product teams via workflow or detailed reports.
  • Monitor the status of outstanding cases and ensure that appropriate actions are being taken by product teams.
  • Follow up un-assigned cases and non-receipt of statements with nostro banks, custodians, fund houses and other counterparties.
  • Substantiate fund receipts for the release to client accounts.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Experienced in performing Reconciliation of Cash, Securities & Funds.
  • Able to multi-task.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent numerical abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Considerable flexibility in working varying shifts to support European and Asian business hours.
  • Able to work within tight deadlines, and with multiple and simultaneous process concerns.
  • Experienced in performing reconciliation of Cash, Securities & Funds.
  • Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the underlying reconciliation products, operations processes and procedures.
  • Demonstrates capability in the areas of risk and control management, and process improvement.

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
