We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Manager – Processing (IC)

 

Role Context

  • GPS Account Solutions supports several different areas for GBM and CMB customers – Account Maintenance and Account Servicing.
  • The teams supporting Wholesale clients play an important role in supporting customers at different stages of their life cycle with HSBC. Teams work closely with business partners and transformation colleagues to improve the efficiency of processes, to make banking faster and easier for customers, and simpler for colleagues. By doing this, the team will help reduce the total cost of operations and enhance the overall customer experience.

 

In this role, you will:

 

  • Ensure to Deliver excellent customer service, in accordance with procedures and continually check for accuracy.
  • Recognize and Identify opportunities to enhance existing working practices.
  • Organize and process work within agreed timelines, continuously monitoring and prioritizing workflow. Undertake various projects as required.
  • Personally deliver and inspire others to deliver a high-quality customer driven service that fosters a positive perception of HSBC and improves customer confidence and loyalty.
  • Ensure satisfactory resolution of customer enquiries and/or complaints (internal and external) through effective investigation, appropriate referrals with recommendations.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and establishing, developing, and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Maintain equipment, staff records and general work environment in good condition, adhering to all appropriate procedures and the clear desk policy.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all internal management Information.
  • Conduct thorough and in depth Investigation and resolve issues, taking appropriate action to prevent recurrence.
  • Adhere to and demonstrate compliance with internal controls by following all relevant procedures, maintaining appropriate records, and implementing audit recommendations in a timely manner. The jobholder will implement the Group compliance policy by containing compliance risk in liaison with Global Head of Compliance, Global Compliance Officer, Area Compliance Officer or Local Compliance Officer. The term ‘compliance’ embraces all relevant financial services laws, rules and codes with which the business has to comply.   of internal and external audit points, including issues raised by external regulators.
  • Implement the Group Compliance Policy, ensuring compliance risk is contained in coordination with the Global Head of Compliance, Global Compliance Officer, Area Compliance Officer, or Local Compliance Officer. Compliance encompasses all relevant financial services laws, rules, and codes applicable to the business.
  •  Foster an environment where skills and knowledge are openly shared, enabling the team to achieve business goals. Provide constructive guidance on referred or technical issues.
  • Contribute effectively to team objectives, taking on both supporting and leadership roles as needed to achieve shared goals. Demonstrate and promote team behaviors, treating all colleagues with respect and encouraging the same in others.
  • Ensure team members receive regular briefings and stay informed about individual and department performance targets, achievements, and procedural updates.
  • Provide timely and effective feedback, coaching and guidance to help individuals maximize their potential.

 

 

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Customer Service Experience.
  • Extensive understanding of conceptual Account servicing activities in core banking . Strong knowledge of in-house systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Graduate in Commerce.
  • A strong Financial Analysis background is preferred.
  • Credit and financial statement analysis will also be highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills

 

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
