We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Project Manager.
The Opportunity:
Reconciliation is a critical function in Finance with the advent of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX). Balance Sheet Reconciliations team provides service to multiple business partners across various sites and entities. The Team is responsible for all Balance sheet accounts and sees to it that these are all reconciled to ensure that the account balance is complete, accurate and reasonableness of ending balance can be substantiated as per the agreed PLA.
The role holder will have the responsibility to fully understand the assigned activities in reconciliations and settlements, in the multiple Lines of Business, play a key part in identifying synergies for improvements within the various processes and drive teams to achieve quantitative goals.
The jobholder is responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects within specified timeline, scope, and budget. He will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate resources, manage risks, and ensure that projects goals align with organizational objectives.
What you’ll do:
Impact on the Business
- Drive business change in a dynamic environment. Analyze business trends, establish volume forecasting and plan for effective capacity / resource utilization. Manage business / operational risks inherent in the business, taking account of economic, regulatory and technological changes.
- Manage effectively migration / remigration / projects, interacting with training / business and project teams. Ensure relationship building and appropriate engagement with all stakeholders.
- Keeping the contingency requirements continually updated in terms of strategic changes on account of migration growth plans in conjunction with core BCP team. The management team to be involved in half yearly walkthrough and “Warm site” testing as required.
- Maximize the resource utilization across the span. Control costs by managing resources and overheads efficiently. Work constantly on achieving the Production Availability and Work Rates for each of the processes and improve the overall operating efficiency.
- Attend project progress meetings along with the project management process.
- Assist in UAT preparation/planning and bridge up with users for tasks such as parameter maintenance in both testing and production environment
- Publish notification to sites such as scheduled system maintenance, dress rehearsal and implementation health check, etc. Arrange regression test and set up QC test lab and execute simulator test cases;
- Support the transformation of customer’s end to end journeys. This will be achieved through the application of reengineering, continuous improvement, Lean six sigma, agile, migration, production management tools, API, Workflow, Robotics Process Automation and cognitive technologies.
- Deliver step change in operational performance (cost, service levels, and customer satisfaction) through identification and successful initiation of new process improvement initiatives aligned with local/regional transformation initiatives.
Customers (External/ Internal)
- Recognize, reward and set high internal service excellence benchmarks to ensure customer delight.
- Problem situations are proactively identified, resolved and escalated to give maximum customer satisfaction. Appropriate measures are taken to improve quality and prevent recurrence. Situations are resolved effectively retaining goodwill of customer.
- Establish and maintain effective high-level relationship with customer business areas and identify areas of service improvements.
- Ensure effective and appropriate structure and format in place for MI, which fully and accurately represents achievement of key business deliverables.
- Initiate the process to notify and alert business counterparts in case of major incident & identify the scope of business implication;
- Relative detailed study on defects and draw correlation across regions and be proactive in Lift and shift of the fixes to various regions.
- Escalate and provide suggestion to management for immediate intervention for crisis/disaster;
- Manage user relationship, arrange resource for UAT preparation/execution once the solution fix was done, plan & manage UAT conduction, seek formal signoff from site and arrange result verification in production upon successful release
- Attend weekly regular meetings and calls with various regional and local parties involved in the defect management
- Ensure seamless extended support for new project enhancement/fix release
What you will need to succeed in the role:
Skills / Experience Required
- BS in Accounting, Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Proficient in computer applications (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Lotus Notes).
- Performs a broad range of managerial responsibilities over others; must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate and detailed records; hardworking, independent and results-oriented
- Analytical Skills - proven interpretation and utilization of Management Information
- Ability to distil complex and varied data into information; good process analysis and problem solving skills
- Proven ability to prioritize workload effectively in line with business priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to succeed within a matrix management structure and build and maintain global team relationships
- Strong collaborative leadership skills (strategic & tactical), able to negotiate, influence, align, and prioritize.
- Maintain document control and data integrity
- Should be detail conscious and should have a high level of analytical thinking for the general improvement of services and procedures

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
