We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Reconciliations Manager.
In this role, you will:
- To lead and develop teams and individuals, focusing on development of direct reports. Create a supportive working environment
- To motivate teams working in a challenging operational environment working different shifts (as applicable)
- Responsible to identify and prevent potential fraudulent situations.
- Ensure process(es) efficiency and closely monitor workflow. Understand and plan team capacity and fully utilize the available resources.
- To build positive and professional relationships with Business Partners and colleague in other areas
- To analyze business trends, establish volume forecasting and plan for effective capacity/resource allocation.
- To understand Business Continuity relevant to the process so as to implement whenever required.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- A degree in Accounting/Finance/Management/Business Administration.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of the TLM Platforms an advantage.
- At least 3-5 years working experience in Glo Corp & Inst Banking and experience in managing MI reporting analysis, change and administrative work.
- At least 3 years of supervisory skills with exposure to appraisals, counseling, team building and staff development.
- Abilty to manage good relationships across mutiple buisness lines and CIB/HSS Hubs
- Very strong people management skills – ability to steer and motivate directs providing a chellenging and supportive environment for team members
- Ability to solve problems, articulate requirements and implement changes.
- Escalation – ability to recognize when a task should be escalated and following through to ensure management are aware
- Possess knowledge on MS Office with good numerical and analytical skills.
- Leadership skills, with ability to build rapport with and relate to and effectively develop a wide range of people.
- Ability to learn quickly and transfers knowledge appropriately, understand and interpret numeric data.
- Ability to speak and understand English fluently, writes business letters and reports, and has good conversational/ telephone skills.
- Good Management skills and initiate improvements.
- Able to work effectively under challenging environment with tight timelines.
Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
