We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager SME - FI SECURITIES - CLEARING AND.

 

Principal responsibilities

  • Role includes management of individual and team’s performance through successful delivery of day to day BAU responsibilities for the business and the clients.
  • The role involves effective and meaningful interactions to the stakeholders – both internal and external clients .
  • Risk management is one of the primary responsibilities embedded in the role.
  • Process’ Subject Matter Expert – providing support to the business, the clients and team members
  • First point of escalation for operational issues within the team and able to communicate, address, and resolve issues with the relevant areas in a timely manner.
  • Ensures timely escalation of all problems/risk issues within their area to the respective stakeholders and the appropriate levels of management
  • Leads innovation and change within their respective teams and to inculcate a positive environment where team members feel encouraged to contribute and drive improvements within the process.
  • In partnership with the team manager, builds a robust BAU cover within the team and ensure the absence of key person dependencies.

Requirements

  • A degree in accounting/finance/management/business is required
  • Minimum of 3-5 year experience in Markets Operations is required
  • In depth knowledge of Fixed Income- cash bonds, Repo product, transactions and processes is an advantage
  • Good Microsoft Office Skills with good numerical and analytical skills
  • Understanding of ICMA, GMRA, CSDR, MiFID and other regulations and policies related to bonds, repo transaction
  • The candidate must be able to work on their own initiative and be completely reliable
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Good Microsoft Office Skills with good numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent planning, time management and organizational skills.
  • Able perform well in a high-pressure environment against tight timelines.
  • Ability to learn quickly and transfer knowledge effectively and accurately.
  • Ability to see the big picture and drive strategic objectives without losing attention to detail.
