We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager Operations.
In this role, you will:
- Process settlements and investigations of cash collateral and interest distributions (OTC) and margins, price alignment interests, considerations, fees (Futures)
- Perform investigation of accounting breaks associated to Rolfe & Nolan, PPS, APS, NOSTRO and Control/Suspense accounts.
- Prepare and update management information related to cash breaks
- Experience in intersystem reconciliations, client money and other adhoc reporting
- Prepare or check reports associated to funding requirements
- Enable business objectives by exploring solutions for drivers such as netting, follow-the-sun or scalability
- Troubleshoot and apply experience and knowledge in both listed and OTC derivatives, its market and mechanisms
- Perform various functions using CORE systems such as Treats, TLM, Scannor, CSM among others
- Maintain and develop analytics and relevant MI and discuss with line manager, senior management and CCO
- Ensure documentation of changes in procedures and desk instructions done by team

- The candidate must demonstrate strong subject matter expertise when contributing to change initiatives.
- The candidate must be equally able to innovate and present ideas for improvement and change as well as accuracy and effectiveness in their day-to-day responsibilities
- Ensure that you have a strong understanding of your role & responsibilities, you are familiar with the procedures, checklists and control and that you proactively manage training through on-the-desk, formal training programs and wider reading & research
- You can demonstrate your commitment to 1:1 meetings, feedback and development and business objectives with your line manager
- Demonstrate examples of active participation in firm-wide training and initiatives
- Demonstrate examples of active participation in department projects, whether during the design phase or the implementation & testing phase
Additional skills:
Strong understanding of:
- futures and options product and market risk
- clients and client processing risk
- HSBC FIM and risk requirements around generic practices
- Exchange rules and regulatory environment across Asia & Europe.
- The HSBC Futures offering and capabilities
Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
