We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager Operations - CENTRAL OPERATION UTILITY-MNL.

 

 

Principal responsibilities

  • This role delivers efficient, accurate Central Operations processing while maintaining strong controls and service standards. It handles static data maintenance (account opening/closure and security setup), fee billing, reconciliations and tax activities, manual sanctions screening, and non‑STP instruction monitoring within agreed SLAs.
  • Perform BAU static data/fee billing/reconciliations activities and management of outstanding instructions.
  • Lead and come up with different projects to benefit the team and improve the existing processes.
  • Drive cross-training initiative across 5 markets for better capacity management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of account opening/name change/closure, and other GHSS/HUB related system maintenances on account set up
  • Ensure timely release of client charges and monitoring of billing statements
  • Support department project on system related the enhancement.
  • Leverage on technology platforms (new and existing) to gain efficiencies and ensure operational viability.
  • Adhere to the standards and procedures outlined in the Operating Manual, Service Level Agreements, and the department’s Minimum Service Standards.
  • Review systems and processes to improve operational efficiencies.
  • Perform Static Data processing (i.e., account opening, maintenance and closure, security setup and maintenance within stipulated timeframes), Fee Billing, Reconciliations and Tax related activities within stipulated timeframes.

 

 

Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of custody activities and securities services.
  • Strong risk and control background.
  • Proven leadership and management competencies.
  • Broad knowledge of UK regulatory environment and HSBC/Global Banking & Markets.
  • Experience managing virtual teams and working across cultures.
  • Strong risk and control background required.
