We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of HR Advisory (Fixed Term) PEOPLE ENABLER.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Support people managers and employees in navigating the spectrum of HR Services with coaching and advice to help resolve queries.
  • Relationship manage and co-ordinate support for enquiries that touch multiple areas of HR, this may involve co-ordinating multiple HR specialists to resolve issues. 
  • Support interpretation of policy and procedures.
  • Support change activities for managers and HR colleagues around a broad range of HR Processes.
  • Maintain and observe all HSBC control standards and observe the Group HR FIM, including adherence with recommendations made by internal/external auditors and external regulators.
  • The jobholder will also adhere to and be able to demonstrate adherence to internal controls. This will be achieved by adherence to all relevant procedures, keeping appropriate records and, where appropriate, by the timely implementation of internal and external audit points, including issues raised by external regulators.
  • Manage expectations of the Business and other stakeholders and ensure all parties involved are aware of their roles and responsibilities.
  • Escalate any queries/issues that are outside own knowledge/experience.

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • Qualifications in Human Resources, experience in Employee Relations, Consulting or Generalist roles.
  • Experience of managing the people aspects of change programmes. 
  • Experience of working in UK HR Domain.
  • Well-developed analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills combined with influencing and negotiation skills. Excellent organisational and planning skills / attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to maintain effective working relationships with teams, peers, senior management and business stakeholders (Collaborative working style )
  • Good understanding and knowledge of MS office (Excel, PowerPoint), ServiceNow tool
  • Persistence and courage of their own convictions to follow up on noted quality issues and monitor agreed management
  • Strict adherence to the requirements of confidentiality, discretion and integrity

 Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above. Due to the urgent hiring need, candidates with immediate right to work locally and no relocation need will be prioritised.
