We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Clearing and Settlements Processor.
In this role, you will:
- Run (AVALOQ) system reports and receive depositary reports via custodians’ system etc. concerning Settlement.
- Co-ordinate with brokers / counterparties to monitor failed trades status.
- Create/validate all system entries for derivatives trades and cash movements.
- Investigation of securities and cash reconciliation differences.
- Create all necessary system input relating to securities transfers and monitor the status with counterparties and custodians
- Liaise with Front Office concerning securities transfers.
- Liaise with Dealing team concerning trade settlement affecting Bank Investment Portfolios.
- Ensure where required replies received in good time from Front Office / Dealing team.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Knowledge of the banking industry.
- Computer skills: MS Office.
- Analytical skills and well organized.
- Good communication skills, team player and client oriented.
Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
