We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President Chief Control Office Private Bank & Wealth.
Job Responsibilities:
- Working with country business lines and functions to implement better end-to-end and individual control design.
Reviewing and critiquing business process controls at both the individual and E2E levels. - Ensuring risk and control standards are considered and incorporated in the initial design of new processes and influencing the design of automated and manual controls.
- Working with country business lines, functions, and lines of defence to design key measures and tools to ensure control effectiveness.
- Ensuring an effective and efficient balance of control effectiveness measures.
- Control measures may include Risk and Control Assessment, Key Control Indicators, test approaches, reviews, audits, and judgment-based attestations.
- Monitoring and analysing control measures to form opinions on the control environment, form risk assessments, and advise on remediation plans.
- Analysing the root cause within the country and working with business operations and technology teams to implement remediation measures.
- Provide controls consultancy, advice, and guidance to stakeholders to ensure new developments and changes embedded control requirements from the outset.
Job Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree or above
- Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework
- Knowledge of Private Bank and Wealth products and operations
- Experience and exposure in assurance and audit will be an added advantage
- Senior stakeholder management
- Clear communication (both verbal and written)
- Excellent soft skills (i.e. presentations, running risk forums and meetings)
Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
