We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Analyst.

The process is in Bangalore, Mexico and Manila. We cater services to 2 main businesses, namely Global Markets and Securities Services.
Our clients are spread across the Globe covering APAC, EMEA, MENA and Americas.
The Opportunity:
MSS Data Ops is a shared service organization created in 2010 with in HTSO which provides Pricing information across entities within HSBC Group.
In this role, you will:
- The role includes the responsibility to ensure that all work is delivered within agreed and desired timeframes and meets the required high-quality standard
- Responsible to deliver a high-quality customer driven service which provides customers with a positive view of HSBC and meets their expectation in terms of accuracy, timeliness and professionalism
- Take appropriate measures to understand and deliver excellent customer service. Process customer instructions accurately and with efficiency to achieve agreed quality standards and targets (as amended or notified from time to time) on all the processes worked.
- To take measures pro-actively identifying, suggesting and designing improvements in process workflows
- To monitor and ensure that common errors / irregular transactions are identified, resolved and escalated efficiently in accordance with procedures in a timely manner
- To understand and comply with all relevant policies and procedures issued by the Group and contained within the Group Standards Manual and relevant Functional Instruction Manuals, Desk Instruction Books and Process Guides
- To be aware of the Operational Risk scenario associated with the role and to ensure that all actions consider the likelihood of operational risk occurring
- To establish and maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely and accurate implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators
- To acquire and update knowledge on procedures related to processes and to ensure that work is completed in accordance with procedures and well within the respective timeframes
- Responsible to ensure that issues / problems are effectively investigated and resolved or are appropriately referred and escalated with recommendations
- To respond effectively and efficiently to urgent work demands and be flexible with work timings.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Fluent in English – spoken and written
- Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Access and PowerPoint
- Knowledge on Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives & FX related products & Money Market products
- Experience with vendor systems – Refinitiv & Bloomberg data feed
- Excellent attention to detail
- Work on own initiative
- Good knowledge of Derivatives/Fixed Income/Equities/FX Rates (D)
- Should be able to work flexible hours (Night Shift/Rotation Shift) (E)
- Graduate in Commerce, Finance or Equivalent
Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
Due to the urgent hiring need, candidates with immediate right to work locally and no relocation need will be prioritised.
The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
