We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of  Account Processor – AU Mortgage, Lending Services

 

 

In this role, you will:

 

  • To contribute towards the development and performance of staff with a shared sense of ownership
  • To motivate and retain team of senior operational clericals
  • Constantly challenging the status quo logically with facts and evidence
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, guidelines, audit recommendations
  • Maintain HSBC internal control standards including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
  • Ensure operations have satisfactory audits with losses and complaints contained.
  • Maintain and observe HSBC internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy, including the timely implementation of recommendations made by internal/external auditors and external regulators. 
  • Foster a compliance culture and implement Group Compliance Policy by managing compliance risk in liaison with the Head of Group Compliance, Regional Compliance Officer, Area Compliance Officer or Local

 

 

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

              

  • The value of this role should not be measured by the size of the team but by the impact the team is expected to deliver based on the process improvements and cost savings in operations.

 

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks / projects in parallel with BAU as required in the KPIs and objectives set.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Relevant years of experience in operational departments, especially in credit operations
