We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of consultant specialist.
In this role, you will:
- In depth experience on Enterprise Storage Management; Design, plan, document, and support the configuration of logical and physical NAS (NetApp) layouts.
- Provide direction for the installation and configuration of all NetApp software packages as needed to support business requirements.
- Create and manage scripts to automate the administrative tasks and provide system level reports
- Perform analysis and develop solutions based on established service agreements for capacity planning and performance tuning.
- Participate in the development of NAS (NetApp) level solution standards. Should have in-depth knowledge of OnCommand tools (CI, WFA, Active IQ )
- Ensure in solutions and deployments of the security of NAS infrastructure and compliance with all applicable security standards
- Recommend and oversee projects that expand, change, or improve the systems and related infrastructure.
- Resolve complex NAS issues independently; coordinate and communicate changes and issues with the client and team members and determine root cause.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in ONTAP, NetApp hardware, and NAS/SAN protocols (CIFS/SMB, NFS)
- Advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex storage, network, and performance issues
- Experience with data protection, replication (SnapMirror, SnapVault), and disaster recovery
- Strong understanding of security, access controls, and compliance in storage environments
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills for cross-team support
- Collaborate with the management to ensure an understanding of business cases and to ensure that the appropriate solution is selected that meets the business need.
- Understand advances and changes in the technology industry and work directly with the vendors to assess new technologies.
- Should have experience of working closely with Incident Management, Change Management teams and provide in-depth root cause analysis as necessary within specialist realms. Should be open for 24*7 and weekend on-call support; Well versed with Agile Methodology.
