We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Delivery Management
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Finance Data Product Owner to ensure delivery to agreed business plans within cost, quality and timescale objectives
- Driving planning across project and programme level deliverables within the Finance Data roadmap
- Accountable for quality reporting on delivery status updates and specialised Finance Data reporting. These include RAIDs, milestones and OKRs upholding CDAO reporting guidelines and standards
- Support the Finance Data Product Owner in monitoring, reporting and managing delivery budgets and expenditure
- Managing and monitoring of delivery governance arrangements adhering to HSBC’s Change Framework
- Acting as the Change Framework SME, providing advice, managing all internal communications and promoting / delivering training for the deployment of methodology changes provided by HSBC’s Change Framework
- RAID monitoring and escalation to successful resolution
- Proactively tracking benefits and OKRs against committed targets
- Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Providing expertise and best practice on Agile ways of working
- Sharing knowledge, lessons learnt and templates
- Providing advice on Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Contributing to the wider CDAO Centre of Excellence, sharing insights from quality assurance and lessons learnt as to where the group lacks consistency.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or demonstrable experience) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a PMO manager / governance manager role
- Experience of working in data-related and / or regulatory reporting change, preferably within financial services is desired
- Understanding / knowledge of data and best practices is preferred
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban etc) is essential
- Experience with Agile management tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence)
- Familiarity with the HSBC Change Framework standards and processes (or equivalent)
- Proven ability to influence, and build relationships with stakeholders (IT and Business) at all levels across within a global matrix organisation model
- Excellent analytical skills to understand complex challenges and facilitate workable solutions
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with the ability to co-ordinate and analyse multiple project and work stream data
- Proven experience of designing and implementing process improvement at Portfolio or Programme level
