We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of a Associate Director, Software Engineering

In this role, you will:

  • Architect, implement, and continually optimize secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, etc).
  • Design and operate cloud (GCP, Azure) and IKP based microservices infrastructure (GKE, Artifact/Container registries).
  • Build robust automation in Python and Groovy (Jenkins shared libraries, custom CLI tools, API integrations).
  • Containerize and operationalize services: vulnerability scanning, progressive rollout (blue/green, canary).
  • Advance Kubernetes governance (RBAC, network policies, pod security, autoscaling, cost & quota strategies).
  • Integrate AI/GenAI accelerators (e.g., intelligent test selection, pipeline log summarization, anomaly detection, knowledge bots).
  • Own release orchestration: environment promotion, artifact integrity, rollback safety, change governance.
  • Lead blameless postmortems; automate recurring remediation tasks.
  • Mentor engineers; codify best practices into reusable templates, libraries, and runbooks.
  • Curate and energize a GenAI Community of Practice (CoP) to scale responsible AI-driven operational gains.

 

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • 12+ years progressive DevOps / Platform / SRE / Software Engineering experience.
  • Strong, current GCP or IKP hands-on expertise (compute, networking, IAM, managed services).
  • Expert-level Python (automation frameworks, APIs, tooling) and Groovy (advanced Jenkins pipeline DSL & shared libraries).
  • Deep Jenkins mastery: Declarative & Scripted pipelines, matrix/parallel builds, dynamic agents, pipeline security.
  • Proven microservices platform delivery (service discovery, config, resilience, API gateways).
  • Production-grade Kubernetes (cluster design, multi-tenant controls, ingress, secrets, Helm).
  • Strong automation mindset: infra-as-code, config-as-code, policy enforcement, testable modules.
  • Security-first orientation: secrets management (Vault / GCP Secret Manager), vulnerability remediation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills across technical and executive audiences.
  • GCP (GKE, IAM, Logging/Monitoring), Jenkins, Terraform, Helm, Kustomize, Python, Groovy, Bash, Docker, Git (semantic versioning, branching strategies), AI/GenAI SDKs/APIs.
  • Strong presentation skills, written and verbal communication; tailors depth to audience.
  • Doer mindset: bias for action, rapid iterative improvement with quality control.
  • Collaborative influencer across product, security, data, leadership.
  • Outcome-focused: balances velocity, reliability, security, and cost.
  • Ownership & accountability end-to-end.

The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements: (Good to have Requirements)  

  • GCP Professional certifications (DevOps Engineer, Architect).
  • GenAI / AIOps experience: embedding ML or LLM-based helpers into ops/pipelines.
