SQL, PL/SQL, POD Delivery/Senior Consultant Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

• Ownership and accountability of the delivery coming from the POD, and in the process ensuring the timely delivery with utmost quality
• Working closely with the demand side of the project to create a supply backlog for the respective POD and effectively planning this within Sprints to ensure aligns with wider project plan
• Calling out any risk associated in these deliveries at the right time along with the mitigation plan if any
• Effective Channelizing and Utilizing of the POD capacity to the demand of the project and showing ability to move between these delivery demands
• Provide support to team in their end-to-end delivery and run lifecycle, utilizing their skills and expertise to carry out software development, testing and operational support activities
• Liaise with other engineers, architects and business stakeholders to understand and drive the product or service's direction
• Working with Ops, Dev and Test Engineers to ensure operational issues (performance, operator intervention, alerting, design defect related issues, etc.) are identified and addressed at all stages of a product or service release/change
• Working closely with POD team and ensuring the POD team adheres to the KPIs in the form of Production  - release, stability and toil
• Keep up-to-date and have expertise on current tools, technologies and areas like cyber security and regulations pertaining to aspects like data privacy, consent, data residency etc. that are applicable

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Having 10+ years of relevant IT experience with a strong knowledge on SQL, PLS SQL, 
• Candidate must have strong working experience with SQL programming to write queries including joins, triggers, views, Stored Procedures, etc.
• Experience working with Jenkins, Git/Stash or similar CI / CD platforms
• Basic knowledge on Java 8, Micro services, Springboot and other J2EE technologies.
• Have a strong commanding skill in working closely with small team and getting things delivered.
• Ability to respond to questions / points of clarification from application suppliers, test teams and business in respect of the functionality being delivered 
• Demonstrable experience in the areas described above in a medium to large software delivery environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal. Effective communication skills
• High levels of enthusiasm and a desire to drive the team and deliver the best quality products possible along with maintaining very high service levels
• Strong technical skills to fully understand the development process. Good problem-solving skills
