We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting

In this role, you will: 

  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for the monthly reporting of charges actuals, Budget updates as per Targets, ensuring accurate and timely month-end close.
  • Collating Comments for month-end MI packs, including variance analysis and clear commentary, and present key drivers and movements to the senior management in a concise and actionable way.
  • Govern and actively manage aged CAM Challenges (Customer Allocation Methodology) , including investigation, challenge, resolution and appropriate follow-up with stakeholders from Business and internally within IT, to minimise Challenges across CIB. Good Understanding of GPDM.
  • Analyze and implement process changes issued by Finance / Central Tech COO, ensuring local adoption, control adherence and consistent execution across the operating model.
  • Provide analytical support on CAM’s, engage with stakeholders and minimise challenges by co-ordinating with Value streams and other business areas across IT , enabling informed decision-making and improved reporting.
  • Prepare and automate Regional reporting of IT Cost at a country level for a particular country and explain the drivers or data on Financials, Workforce , 3rd Party contracts, Clarity exceptions via a monthly call with business stakeholders.
  • Ensuring that all the required governance is adhered to in Compliance with internal controls

To be successful, you will:

  • Understanding of Data Studio tooling (or any similar tooling) to edit current pages , bring in the relevant views to minise excel reporting.
  • Proven experience working in a finance team, ideally supporting Technology or an equivalent fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of month-end reporting processes including variance analysis of costs across cost lines (mostly people and 3rd party), with a clear understanding of the operational and control complexities involved.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks, able to manage multiple competing priorities and to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.  Exhibits proficiency in Excel, data analysis, and PowerPoint, with a demonstrated ability to influence others through effective verbal and written communication, especially facing business stakeholders.
  • Experience in developing meaningful reports and metrics, alongside strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting across various management levels. Experience with analytical and business intelligence tools, including advanced MS-Office skills. Familiarity with AI tools and effective prompting (e.g., Copilot, Claude etc.) to improve productivity and output quality.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling the synthesis of complex information to make data-driven decisions that drive business outcomes. Demonstrable capability in reporting, interpreting and explaining financials (including variances and cost drivers) to senior stakeholders, using clear and confident communication.
  • Resilient with strong influencing and stakeholder management skills, able to hold your own and remain constructive in conflict situations with senior management. Comfortable managing competing and changing priorities, responding effectively to time-critical queries and maintaining delivery discipline under pressure.
  • Continuous improvement and adaptability: Ability to challenge the status quo and pursue operational excellence through continuous improvement is a key attribute. Resilience and strong influencing skills are essential, particularly in conflict situations with senior management.  Willingness to engage actively and manage competing and changing priorities is crucial. Change agility is essential, focusing on driving and responding to change effectively.
