The Opportunity:

In this fantastic new role, you will join a growing team to work with an experienced group of engineers in designing, developing, and maintaining key capabilities using AI and Generative AI (e.g., Speech transcription, translation, knowledge management) for scaled consumption across our Businesses and Functions
     

What you’ll do:

• Research, develop, and implement state-of-the-art techniques in the field of Large Language Models (LLM) and Generative AI.
• Conduct Proof-of-Concept (POC) and prototyping to explore and validate the feasibility and flexibility of innovative ideas.
• Design and develop platform capabilities spanning AWS, GCP, Azure environments, enabling seamless cloud deployments.
• Build and optimize key AI platform components—including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines and agent frameworks—to accelerate AI solution delivery using Agentic AI.
• Ensure strict adherence to architectural principles, technical standards, security requirements, and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Troubleshoot complex platform issues to ensure successful, high-quality, and resilient AI services in production.
• Collaborate closely with product teams, engineers, stakeholders, and customers to translate AI capabilities into production-ready systems that meet business needs.

What you will need to succeed in the role:

• Product Development Knowledge: An understanding of the product development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to leveraging data for driving adoption and engagement.
• Generative AI Expertise: Some knowledge of Generative AI technologies, including prompt engineering, large language models (LLMs).
• Transformation Familiarity: Familiarity with large-scale business transformation through analytics and AI/ML technologies.
• Proactive Approach: Self-starter with the ability to perform most activities with moderate to low direction, showcasing initiative and independence.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing risk and technical environment, comfortable with ambiguity and evolving challenges.

Qualifications - Internal

• Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related fields.
• Advanced programming skills in Python, with familiarity in machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch and essential libraries like scikit-learn, pandas, etc.

• Experience with Generative AI / Large Language Model (LLM) / Open Source Models / Agentic AI, and know-how of applying Generative AI into different use cases via Prompt Engineering, RAG (Retrieval Augmentation Generation) or fine-turning techniques.

• Proven expertise in one or more areas, including Natural Language Processing (NLP), Multimodal Representation Learning, Generative AI, or Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Working Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Agent frameworks (like OpenAI Agents SDK,CrewAI, LangChain/LangGraph,etc.
• Experience working with cloud platforms  preferred (AWS) and container orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience with data manipulation and analysis using SQL, Pandas, NumPy, etc.
• Knowledge of implementing Responsible AI controls, data governance, and compliance frameworks is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale, mission-critical platforms from concept to production.
