We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

• Own test management activities across transformational and non-transformational projects
• Define testing approaches aligned to industrial standards
• Build, implement and maintain test automation packs for agreed HSBCnet functions and tools
• Partner with stakeholders to maintain visibility of test coverage and quality status
• Oversee testing support across an automation team and multiple pods within the DevOps team
• Evaluate risks early, put mitigations in place and coordinate actions with teams and stakeholders
• Maintain and enhance the existing automation framework, including reviewing and updating it
• Stabilise and update the existing regression suite in line with the latest code base and releases
• Contribute to test transformation initiatives to reduce manual effort and embed continuous improvement
• Participate in sprint planning, provide sequencing inputs and share test estimates and metrics

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Bring hands-on experience testing payments and reporting systems with strong domain knowledge in at least one region or country
• Apply strong knowledge of MT and MX messages, including MT942/940/999 and CAMT52/53/54
• Use Cucumber, Selenium and Playwright to create and maintain effective automated tests
• Perform API testing using Postman, RestAssured or Tosca
• Work effectively in Agile delivery with practical experience using JIRA
• Partner with Product Owners and Business Analysts to articulate business flows and translate them into test coverage
• Demonstrate strong stakeholder management with clear written and verbal communication
• Apply structured analytical and planning skills to manage dependencies, quality and delivery outcomes
