We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Service Management 

In this role you will:

• Lead and drive deliverables end to end.
• Mentoring team members to deliver with new ways of working.
• Architect multiple solutions simultaneously with the help of GD Architect and GD Lead, develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users and various teams, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; and following the software development lifecycle.
• Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, writing blogs, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
• Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
• Do multi-tasking - Must have ability to track multiple issues, effectively manage time and competing priorities, and to drive results through partner organizations. Be GD’s voice in CBCC and beyond (all HSBC forums)
• Communicate strongly (verbal, written, and presentation of complex information and data). Good analytical and problem analysis skills. Experience of planning and prioritizing own as well as team’s time effectively, aware of own responsibilities and committed to delivering priorities efficiently.

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements

• Have to be capable of working on all areas of the application stack but having a preference and possibly most experience in Core Java, Web Technologies. Experience required around 15-18 years.
• Be an Individual who has ability to implement the next generation of Global Disbursements architecture that will leverage microservices and cloud technologies to enable efficient access to highly optimised databases. Good knowledge of Payments and Banking domain.
• Have to have good hands-on preferably on creating- design and development of database applications, web-based applications, APIs. Good understanding of DevOps and CICD.
• Need to Have proven expertise in: - Core Java, Database-Oracle, Linux, MQ, WMB, WAS, WLP, Knowledge of https and Security Protocols, Ansible, Liquibase, Jenkins, Checkmarx, NexusIQ, AppDynamics, Splunk, Co-ordination and Communication with multiple IT teams in HSBC. Nice to Have: - Kubernetes, Spring Ability to optimise Application and database performance. Experience with cloud technologies a plus
• Have strong knowledge and experience in Agile discipline and the ability put the discipline into practice. Should be able to troubleshoot any infrastructure related issues independently.
• Deliver GD’s Modernization agenda successfully, that’s laden with new microservices, PayOS enabled architecture and will provide a sustainable framework to move away from legacy and mainframe-based service
• Need to have hands-on exposure to AI-enabled automation for a payments product platform, with the ability to identify and automate repetitive operational and delivery tasks.  Capable of delivering customer centric, bespoke solutions that will serve specific customer requirements-such as 24*7 cross-border payments disbursements with safe-storing and further finetuning it to have minimum possible E2E turnaround time.
