We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Software Engineer

In this role, you will:

• Design, build and support modern web applications and APIs using React and Java technologies.
• Develop React-based user interface components with a focus on usability, performance and accessibility.
• Design and develop Java-based microservices and REST APIs supporting business applications and integrations.
• Apply secure coding standards and ensure compliance with internal control and governance requirements.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle including design, development, testing and deployment.
• Investigate and resolve defects and production incidents through effective root-cause analysis.
• Contribute to engineering practices including code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, quality engineers and support teams to deliver scalable solutions.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience in React including Hooks, state management, component design and performance optimization.
• Strong experience in Core Java and RESTful service development using Spring or Spring Boot.
• Good understanding of API design principles, integration patterns and JSON-based contracts.
• Experience working with relational databases and SQL query development.
• Strong software engineering practices including unit testing, code reviews and Git version control.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience working across development and analysis activities within Agile delivery teams.
• Knowledge of Finance or Banking technology environments is advantageous.
