- Define and maintain service standards and artefacts (service definition, service boundaries, SLO/SLAs, RTO/RPO, support model, runbooks, on-call arrangements)
- Drive service reliability outcomes, incident reduction, problem management, and continuous improvement plans
- Lead operational governance: change/release readiness, capacity planning, maintenance windows, and operational risk management for cloud workloads

- Own incident management for the service: major incident leadership/support, communications, coordination of restoration, post-incident reviews, and remediation tracking
- Manage service resilience and DR: test planning/execution, failover readiness, backup/restore validation, and alignment to business continuity requirements
- Ensure compliance with relevant controls and evidence requirements (e.g., access controls, patching, vulnerability remediation, configuration baselines), partnering with control owners as needed
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Proven experience as an IT Service Owner / Service Manager / Operations Lead for customer-facing or business-critical applications, preferably hosted on public cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP)
