We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Position title

In this role, you will:

• Act as technical SME for design and build of Python services and LLM-enabled applications (prompting/orchestration/evaluation as applicable).
• Provide guidance on architecture alignment, integration patterns, and non-functional requirements (security, resilience, performance, observability).
• Lead technical troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and production stability improvements.
• Drive DevOps practices: CI/CD pipelines, automation, environment readiness and operational handover.
• Ensure secure-by-design delivery: IAM/roles/service accounts/entitlements, secrets handling and least-privilege access.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Cyber Security, Risk/Compliance and Platform teams to meet governance requirements.
• Mentor engineers, lead technical reviews, and contribute to knowledge sharing across squads.

To be successful, you will:

• Cloud certification in GCP or AWS (with GCP preferred) and solid working knowledge of Azure/GCP platforms.
• Strong core Python engineering skills with a rigorous code review/standards mindset.
• Prompt engineering capability with hands-on delivery of LLM-based applications and awareness of leading market solutions.
• Containerisation and platform skills: Kubernetes, Docker, plus cloud storage and Cloud Functions (or equivalent).
• Data engineering exposure across SQL, NoSQL, and dbt.
• Delivery tooling: CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jira, Jenkins, and build/automation tools (Maven/Gradle, Ansible as applicable).
• Security and integration experience: IAM, AD/ADLDS, roles/service accounts/entitlements, plus streaming/events (Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Kafka/Confluent).
