We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of  Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will

• Design, build, and operate scalable, highly available GCP infrastructure (compute, storage, networking, IAM).

• Manage and monitor core GCP services and components, ensuring reliability and performance.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable automated build, test, deploy, and rollback.

• Partner with development teams to streamline release processes and improve deployment frequency and quality.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (and Helm for Kubernetes deployments) with version control.

• Standardise environments across dev/stage/prod to ensure consistency and repeatability.

• Set up proactive monitoring, alerting, and incident troubleshooting for infrastructure and pipelines.

• Apply security best practices and support compliance requirements, working closely with security stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• 5+ years’ industry experience, including 3+ years designing and running production workloads on GCP.

• Strong hands-on experience with GCP services (e.g., Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, IAM).

• Solid Kubernetes expertise (especially GKE), including container orchestration and microservices patterns.

• Strong IaC capability with Terraform; Helm experience for Kubernetes packaging and releases.

• Proven CI/CD implementation experience (e.g., Jenkins or equivalent tools) and release automation.

• Scripting skills in Python and/or Bash for automation and operational tooling.

• Experience with monitoring/observability and troubleshooting production systems (performance, capacity, reliability).

• Exposure to event streaming/messaging platforms such as Kafka and/or Google Cloud Pub/Sub; data platform experience on GCP is a strong plus.
