We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will:

• We are looking for an experienced developer and technical lead who will join our delivery team supporting development and maintenance of Summit components.
• A successful candidate must have strong knowledge on Finastra Summit application to support various requirements coming from our business partners
• We expect the person will play one of the key roles in the delivery team - not only in terms of core development but also in owning CI/CD, DevOps and Tooling.
• To contribute to requirements gathering and delivery planning to meet our business partners’ needs in both quality and on-time delivery aspect
• Consulting closely with business stakeholders to understand their objectives and requirements, developing user stories in association with product owners, Business Analysts and lead technical solutions
• Working with development team to map requirements to delivery schedules and pipelines, working with testing team to ensure appropriate test cases are executed against requirements
• Identifying potential issues, reviewing solutions and recommending strategies for solving problems
• Provide support to technical lead responsible for the project delivery 

To be successful, you will: 

• 10+ years in IT/software development, including 4+ years on Finastra Summit.
• Strong hands-on implementation using Summit APIs, including customised real-time components and custom utilities.
• Solid knowledge of Summit STP (Straight Through Processing) framework.
• Good knowledge of Summit Trade, Document, Static and Settlement servers and their extensions.
• Experience with Summit meta-model changes, metadata and extensions using core utilities.
• Worked across Summit modules such as accounting, portrep, plupd, etc., with hands-on experience in the Summit reporting module.
• Summit front-end development by extending the core framework, with good understanding of eToolkit request/response architecture.
• Experience with Summit access layering setup via roles admin, and market/curve data setup for pricing.
• Customising state transitions and implementing gateway/file adaptor using Summit plugins; familiarity with generic valuation and trade-flow reports/utilities.
• Proven delivery focus: platform improvements (performance/production stability), fast-paced collaboration, strong problem-solving/presentation/analytical skills, adaptability/rapid learning, and familiarity with unit/regression/e2e testing; good-to-have exposure to fixed income derivatives, basic Oracle/RDBMS, and regulatory reporting guidelines.
