We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Engineering manager and Portfolio lead/Senior Associate Director, Technology Management

In this role, you will

• Ownership of mission critical strategic high value payment processing platform for the bank, responsible for product change delivery, infrastructure evergreen and production stability, Accountable executive for software change quality, scope and cost.
• Build strong relationship with the High Value Payment Processing stakeholders. Collaborate with Payments Operations, lines of business and CBCC/GPE Change Control Board in reviewing, prioritizing and planning business orderbook deliveries.
• Drive delivery efficiency to consistently improve on time to market, system availability, delivery quality; drive automation, transformation and innovation to improve delivery efficiency.
• Assume responsibilities to backup GPE platform lead in forums like RCMM, Incident recovery, Quality and transformation initiatives and establish visibility to CBCC leadership. Enforce and adhere to SDLC standards and lead the organizational transformation initiative (VSO alignment)
• Build relationship with product vendor and third-party suppliers to partner in delivering “fit-for-purpose” capabilities. Develop deep platform and payment knowledge so as to be able to provide guidance to the team in making technology and architecture decisions and steer change implementation plan reviews
• Accountable to lead dynamic team globally spread having diverse skills, i.e architects, functional experts, infrastructure experts, full-stack engineers and automation testers.
• Build cohesive and collaborative environment for teams to perform at their best. Develop and manage high performing team to meet present and future needs. Develop talent and leadership at all levels including opportunities for growth, stretch roles, global leadership, and succession for key/critical roles.
• Attract, develop, and retain talent across delivery leadership and technical/functional SME and Lead performance management including compensation, vertical/lateral progression, and reward & recognition. 

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Strong leadership experience having performed similar roles of leading large scale change deliveries for mission critical products/programs.
• Demonstratable experience in driving technology programs having steered architectural and design decisions, participated in solution review, led large scale product / program rollout
• Expertise in working on global role(s), with proven exposure in collaborating with multiple stakeholders
• Proven experience in leading large global teams
• Strong business and technology acumen, and proven experience in building a vision and developing strategy supporting the vision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in leading vendor product lifecycle management. Payment’s domain experience is a strong plus. Experience in Global PayPlus would be added advantage
• Strong knowledge and experience of managing financial, operation, market and regulatory drivers impacting complex and dynamic technology environment
