We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of DevOps Engineer (Jenkins Automation)
In this role, you will:
- Architect and maintain Jenkins Pipelines as Code (declarative/scripted), shared libraries, and agent infrastructure
- Automate build, test, artifact management, approvals, and deployments across multiple environments
- Implement Ansible roles/playbooks for configuration management and application/infrastructure provisioning
- Standardize CI/CD templates, reusable stages, and compliance checks (quality gates, security scans)
- Integrate secrets management, credentials, and policy guardrails across pipelines
- Containerize build/test steps with Docker; manage caching and reproducibility
- Implement observability for pipelines and deployments (logging, metrics, tracing)
- Optimize pipeline performance, reliability, and cost (parallelism, caching, resource tuning)
- Collaborate with application, security, and platform teams to meet SLOs/SLAs
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, and training materials
- Use GitHub Copilot or similar tools to accelerate high-quality pipeline code and documentation
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Jenkins expertise: Pipeline as Code, shared libraries, agents/executors, credentials, approvals, RBAC
- Ansible: roles, playbooks, inventories, vault; idempotent configuration management
- CI/CD: artifact repositories, versioning, rollback strategies, promotion flows
- Containers: Docker; build/test containerization and caching strategies
- Security: OWASP basics for pipelines, secret management, least privilege, policy enforcement
- Observability: metrics, logs, tracing for CI/CD and deployments (e.g., OpenTelemetry concepts)
- Scripting: Groovy, Bash/PowerShell for pipeline and automation tasks
- Git workflows: trunk/branch strategies, code review, change management
- Productivity: experience using GitHub Copilot or similar tools
