We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of a Senior Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will:

• Work towards priorities defined by product owners in the business to collaboratively build out the iQube product/platform
• To have a clear view of technology strategy for design & delivery of the technical aspects of the product…focusing on not only business delivery but constant focus on remediating tech debt.
• Responsible for delivering tasks end to end with high quality and in line with design and architecture laid out. Strive towards no post implementation issues.
• Production support, environment management, release support and automation implementation to be part of day job.
• Ensuring that all release pipelines are automated by adhering organization compliances.
• Maintaining our Agile and delivery principles.
• Collaboration with business and team along with DevOps principles maintained all the time

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in automating our operational processes, ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of our systems. You will work closely with development and operations teams to streamline deployments and manage our containerized environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain robust and scalable CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment using Ansible.
• Create, manage, and optimize Docker containers and images for our applications.
• Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes, with a strong focus on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Configure and manage Nginx as a reverse proxy, load balancer, and web server.
• Oversee certificate management, including the issuance, renewal, and deployment of SSL/TLS certificates to ensure secure communication.
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) to ensure consistent and repeatable environments.
• Collaborate with software developers to ensure that applications are designed for scalability and reliability.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support the availability of our production environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins.
• Proficiency in automation and configuration management using Ansible.
• In-depth knowledge of containerization with Docker.
• Extensive experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes and GKE.
• Solid experience with Nginx configuration and administration.
• Demonstrable experience with SSL/TLS certificate management.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, Groovy).
• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other IaC tools like Terraform.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• GCP or Kubernetes certifications (e.g., CKA, CKAD, Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.

Non-Technical:

• Strong communication skills – experience of interfacing with IT Lead/Delivery Manager, Architect, business Product Owners and IT offshore teams.
