We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will

• Lead end-to-end technology delivery for Change-the-Bank initiatives across the Avaloq platform and supporting infrastructure, ensuring agreed outcomes are delivered to scope, time, quality and control standards.
• Develop and manage integrated IT delivery plans, aligning technology milestones, dependencies and activities with the wider programme or project schedule.
• Drive governance and delivery transparency through accurate status reporting, dashboards, delivery confidence assessments, RAID logs, decision records and action tracking.
• Coordinate cross-functional technology teams, including engineering, infrastructure, security, architecture, service management and vendors, to resolve blockers and deliver agreed workstreams.
• Manage scope, risks, issues, actions and dependencies, ensuring ownership, remediation plans, escalation routes and target dates are clear and actively maintained.
• Support implementation and go-live readiness, coordinating approvals, acceptance criteria, operational readiness activities and required evidence across Jira, ITSA, OAT and related governance processes.
• Coordinate Avaloq and MQ KTLO activities, including security patching, certificate renewals, SBLM control remediation and vulnerability reduction, with appropriate validation and audit evidence.
• Support RTB operational resilience, coordinating firmware upgrades, physical machine migrations and SAN migrations while maintaining service stability, change control and rollback readiness.
• Maintain strong stakeholder engagement and delivery discipline, chairing IT-focused meetings where required, documenting decisions and ensuring actions are driven through to closure.

To be successful in this role, you should

• Have proven experience managing technology change and BAU delivery within a regulated, complex enterprise environment.
• Be an effective delivery planner and organiser, with strong experience in integrated schedules, milestone tracking, RAID management, governance reporting and action follow-up.
• Demonstrate confident stakeholder management, working collaboratively across engineering, infrastructure, security, service management, programme teams and third-party vendors.
• Have sound risk, issue and dependency management skills, including the judgement to prioritise, escalate appropriately and drive timely resolution.
• Be comfortable working across Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery models, adapting governance and planning approaches to suit the initiative.
• Have practical knowledge of technology operations and controls, including patching, certificate lifecycle management, vulnerability remediation, change management and go-live readiness.
• Be familiar with delivery and collaboration tools, particularly Jira, Confluence and reporting or dashboard platforms.
• Preferably have experience with Avaloq, MQ or related infrastructure domains, such as compute, operating systems, virtualisation, networks, storage/SAN and technology lifecycle management, together with an understanding of audit evidence, operational resilience and service management practices.
