We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Analyst
In this role, you will:
- Work closely with IT Service Owners on regular status updates by running a clear weekly cadence to review control health across their services - highlighting what’s delinquent, what’s at risk of becoming delinquent, and what has changed since the last review.
- You’ll confirm ownership, due dates, evidence requirements, and remediation actions, agree priorities, track actions through to closure, and escalate material risks early with the supporting data to immediate leadership team
- Consume and interpret MI from ServiceNow, cyber dashboards, Power BI and QlikView to identify actionable control risks.
- Curate dashboard outputs into concise weekly priority lists and control health summaries for ITSOs.
- Provide clear narrative: what’s changed, what it means, what to do next, and what needs escalation.
- Perform deep-dive analysis using Excel and other analytics tools (e.g., Power Query/SQL where available) to validate issues and find root causes.
- Run sanity checks across data sources (status mismatches, stale data, duplicates) and confirm correct ownership and due dates.
- Support governance cadence and forums with accurate packs, tracked actions, and early escalation of material risks.
To be sucessful in this role:
- Strong controls mindset: understand operating controls, evidence expectations, and the impact of missed/late controls in a regulated bank.
- Data-led problem solving: confidently interrogate datasets and reconcile dashboard outputs to underlying records.
- Dashboard literacy: able to filter, drill down, cross-check and interpret Power BI/QlikView outputs without misreading indicators.
- You can bridge technology with service management, IT controls and governance by understanding how day-to-day ITSO work connect to the bank’s control expectations and governance cadence.
- You’ll translate technical and operational detail into clear control impacts and next steps. You’re equally comfortable talking to technical teams about what’s needed to fix the issue and to governance stakeholders about risk, trends, materiality, and escalation, ensuring reporting is consistent, auditable, and action-oriented.
- Strong communication: convert analysis into crisp actions (owner, due date, next step, risk/impact) for busy ITSOs.
- Stakeholder management: challenge constructively, drive clarity on accountability, and keep actions moving to closure.
- Attention to detail and governance discipline: consistent definitions, clean tracking, auditable logic, and high-quality packs with minimal rework.
