We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of

Senior consultant specialist

• The Specialist Engineering job encompass working across the Technology delivery lifecycle including inception, analysis, construction, testing, release and ongoing management of a product or service in a pod within a Technology team. 
• The candidate will be required to continually enhance their skills within a number of specialisms which include front end and back end development, security, testing, and operational support. 
• We are looking for Full Stack Engineers to help us build and run HSBC’s staff and online banking services, transforming complex business processes into simplified workflows using efficient orchestration, build responsive & intutive front end screens tied with microservices platform. 
• Candidate will be part of a cross functional product team delivering products into production in ever shortening cycles and helping to drive the continuous improvement of our processes, tooling and engineering practices. We welcome all talented Agile engineers from those who can sit across the whole stack and is a specialist on both front end and back end of a software lifecycle.  
• We’re looking for passionate, driven, team loving, agile evangelising, technology enthusiasts to join the team and become part of our journey to shape and change the future of HSBC. 

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Be responsible for translating detailed designs into robust, scalable and reusable solutions that deliver exceptional user experience driven by the product teams 
• Familiar with atleast couple of different languages, enabling front end and back end development and well-versed in at least one 
• Use the latest enterprise application technologies, processes and tools to deliver frequently, safely and efficiently 
• Keen to collaborate with others, and you’ll give thought about how software fits into the bigger picture 
• Experienced in Continuous Delivery practices and how they affect product quality and delivery 
• Experienced with a range of agile practices and understand how and why they work 
• We promote a DevOps culture so you will need to look beyond pure programming and get involved with the deployment and operation of the software we build. 
• Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets 
• Require 10+ years expereince overall as a full stack engineer 

Camunda Workflow Engine 7.14+, BPMN2.0, Java 8+, APIs(RESTFUL), SpringBoot, Spring Integration, JPA, Hibernate, Groovy, Jenkins (creating jobs for build/deployment), Database(Postgres, Oracle), Maven, IDEs(Eclipse/Spring Tool Suite/ Rational/IntelliJ/Visual Studio), Postman, React.js, Angular.js, ECMAScript, CSS3, HTML5, Node.js, React, Redux, Yarn, Babel, PM2, Github, Browser debugging capability, AWS experience, Knowledge of AWS API Gateway, Cloudwatch and other common AWS services

• PaaS/IaaS – AWS, API gateway 
• CI/CD - tools such as Jenkins, Git, GitHub, SonarQube, Nexus 
• Agile Tooling – Jira, Confluence 
• Application Monitoring – Splunk, AppDynamics, Cloudwatch 
• Spring Boot and Tomcat 
• DevOps processes and experience 
• Strong understanding of lean and agile methods of software delivery  
• Agile methodologies – Scrum, Kanban
