We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering 

In this role, you will:

• Hands on Full Stack Development & Post Go LIVE Maintenance of HSBC Global Intranet solution. 
• Lead overall Delivery of Intranet solution Pod working along with Delivery heads & business counterparts. 
• Partner with Delivery head for overall responsibility of Global Intranet rollout across all demography 
• Provide necessary leadership to the technical conversation along with architects and solution designers and bridge the technical gap between stakeholders and delivery PODs 
• Work closely with external development agencies to ensure accountable delivery and integration of solutions to time and budget 
• Responsibility to ensure all work is completed in line with bank standards 
• Responsibility to ensure all work is completed in line with bank standardsTechnical advisor to stakeholders to determine the best solutions to achieve their designed outcomes, objectives and key results.  
• Coach and support stakeholders in their utilization of Agile Frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, Kanban & Lean. Be the ambassador for Colleague Experience Technology when facing off to stakeholders for delivery activities. 

 To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:     

• Exceptional Full Stack Technical Development skills with minimum 10-15 years of experience in developing. 
• Very strong expertise in HTML, CSS, JS, Angular, React, Node, Kong & DB Technologies. 
• Exceptional relationship management skills and experience required. A proven history of managing stakeholders at all levels of a Global organisation. 
• 12+ years of experience working with technology teams in software/product delivery role. 
• Proven experience leading software delivery teams in an Agile environment. 
• Experience leading projects and deliverables using both Agile and Waterfall techniques.  
• Deep level knowledge around GCP, Azure preferred to enable meaningful conversations with development, content and engineering teams. 
• Experience of managing a medium-sized team across multiple locations, including remote workers
