We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Delivery Management
In this role, you will:
- Governance, Security & Compliance: Ensure the programme complies with IT governance standards, security controls, and all relevant regulatory requirements.
- Financial & Resource Management: Own budget management, cost forecasting, and resource allocation to support successful programme delivery.
- Delivery Optimisation: Drive efficient execution by balancing cost, timeline, scope, and quality, and proactively managing delivery risks and dependencies.
- Capacity & Demand Management: Identify supply-and-demand gaps, support capacity planning, and recommend actions to address shortfalls or constraints.
- Workforce Planning: Plan ahead for hiring and releases in line with the budget position and forecasted demand.
- Programme Definition & Planning: Partner with the Senior Programme Manager to define programme objectives, scope, and deliverables aligned to business outcomes.
- Roadmaps & Execution Management: Develop and maintain programme roadmaps, timelines, and integrated resource plans to ensure delivery remains on track.
To be successful, you will:
- Certification: PMP / PgMP / SAFe (or equivalent) certification is required.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent experience).
- Project/Programme Management Expertise: Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery approaches.
- Leadership & Communication: Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution capabilities.
- Analytical & Problem Solving: Ability to assess complex challenges, structure options, and drive pragmatic solutions.
- Solution Enablement: Ability to guide teams and stakeholders towards implementing the right solution.
- Tooling Awareness: Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, JIRA, QC (or equivalent).
- Communication to Mixed Audiences: Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
