Being part of HSBC in France, you’ll help evolve and grow our business. Risk & Compliance HBCE is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-quality secretarial, administrative and business support to the Chief Risk Officer, HBCE.

What you will do:

 

You’ll provide comprehensive support to the Chief Risk Officer, HBCE, helping them manage complex priorities, stakeholders and activities efficiently. This role requires sound judgement, resilience and the ability to anticipate requirements while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and service.

 

In this role you will:

 

  • Provide effective day-to-day secretarial, administrative and business support to a senior executive with global and regional responsibilities.
  • Manage complex calendars, resolve scheduling conflicts and coordinate meetings, events, activities and resources.
  • Organise team meetings and maintain accurate team records and management information.
  • Arrange business travel and accommodation, including detailed itineraries, expense processing and visa applications, while ensuring policy compliance and cost control.
  • Manage visitor and telephone screening, as well as internal and external correspondence.
  • Handle ad hoc assignments and a substantial workload, delivering high-quality outcomes to tight deadlines.

 

You should apply if you have:

 

  • Proven administrative, secretarial or executive assistant experience, or equivalent transferable experience.
  • Strong time management, planning, organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to anticipate senior stakeholders’ needs, work independently and use sound judgement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex matters clearly and concisely.
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Good digital skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn internal systems quickly.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively under pressure.
  • Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken.
