What you will do:

 

Within the RF Client Management team, managing a portfolio of international clients across multiple sectors of CMB, GB and ISB relationships. To provide pro-active support in deepening client relationships and improving income generation through focused business development activities. The role is based in Paris (France) and will be client facing.

 

In this role you will:

  • Work with line manager and regional coverage teams in identifying strategies to maintain / enhance overall relationship return, increase revenues while optimizing the utilization of credit facilities, and ensure early identification of potential credit issues.
  • Ensure prompt and appropriate response to customer enquiries and concerns by problem solving and facilitating the process by liaising with coverage, product and support functions.
  • Provide general support in servicing client relationships and enhancing satisfaction and income generation.
  • Coordinate, write-up and hold structured and focused credit memorandums for annual reviews and/or contractual adjustment proposals.
  • Understand and ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which the jobholder is involved.
  • Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points.
  • Develop a strong product expertise and provide high quality analysis to support business development and credit risk assessment.
  • Acting as a principal point of contact internally for branches to support integration and alignment of RF business within HBCE centralized platform.
  • Undertake all required activities as directed by line manager, or as agreed in annual objectives, in support of achieving business objectives.

 

You should apply if you have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field,
  • Experience in business development, sales management and credit or equivalent experience in a corporate banking role within HSBC,
  • Commercial lending, risk assessment, trade finance and cash management experience,
  • Understanding of clients and their working capital needs in an international context,
  • Ability to work with sales and structuring teams in delivering creative and flexible customer solutions,
  • Interpersonal communication and teamwork skills,
  • Time management, planning, analytical and organization skills,
  • Fluency in English as well as MS Office is required,
  • Knowledge about HSBC’s product and service capabilities in HBCE as well experience in French and/or other language will be considered an asset.
