Provide Business Manager/COO support to the France Investment Counsellor (IC) function, with a strong focus on suitability oversight, robust supervisory controls, and effective governance. The role ensures the IC team operates in line with Sales Quality Standards (SQS), Advisory procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements, while driving operational efficiency and consistently considering customer impact in business decisions.
What you will do:
Support the IC function by strengthening the control environment, ensuring regulatory and policy adherence, and enabling the team to deliver strong customer outcomes through effective governance, oversight, and operational excellence.
In this role you will:
- Provide suitability oversight and supervisory controls for the IC population, including reporting, escalation, and remediation.
- Ensure adherence to SQS and Advisory procedures (mandate openings, SQS alerts, portfolio reviews, risk profiling incl. K&E/ARPQ/ESG).
- Strengthen governance and the control environment by embedding key controls, KPIs/KRIs, and monitoring regulatory risk reporting.
- Drive process improvements, simplification, and automation to increase operational efficiency while staying within risk appetite.
- Support onboarding and day-to-day enablement of new joiners (systems, processes, ways of working).
- Track regulatory and market changes and update processes/controls accordingly.
- Oversee delivery of key initiatives and performance management (budget, timelines, SLAs, turnaround times).
- Support resource, cost, supplier, and documentation management (FTE planning, budget oversight, supplier onboarding, DIMs, GDPR/records).
You should apply if you have:
- Strong knowledge of internal platforms and tools, including Avaloq and Aladdin.
- Strong understanding of Private Bank regulatory expectations, including Advisory, Suitability, and MiFID requirements.
- Strong analytical capability and structured problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with IC colleagues and broader business partners.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver at pace.
