The Asia FX Trader provides timely and accurate dealing services for clients in the assigned area as well as manages the firm's inventory and trading risk under supervision and as assigned in compliance with all applicable regulation within a given business area.

 

As our Asia FX Trader you will:

 

  • Effectively maintain various risk positions and manages within position limits, providing liquidity and trade ideas to clients while trading within set limits to achieve a given revenue target
  • Provide consistent and accurate pricing service to sales force and clients. Provides market information to sales staff as well as guidance on transaction opportunities and market timing
  • Be responsible for daily P&L sign-off(s) for the trading book(s) managed
  • Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets
  • Lead and encourage constructive cross-country and cross-business teamwork by demonstrating collaboration and matrix management in action and taking prompt action to address any activities and behaviors that are not consistent with HSBC's diversity policy and/or the best interests of the business and its customers
  • Lead the implementation and oversight of policy and governance frameworks, procedures, practices and standards to ensure quality, effective risk management and regulatory compliance
  • Adhere to, and be able to demonstrate adherence to, internal controls and will implement the Group compliance policy by adhering to all relevant processes/procedures

Your final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and several variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.
